Sheila reviews aidan's performance of May 25th at the Underground Sessions for www.undergroundsessions.com.

While this particular night was preformed with the backdrop of the Liverpool vs Milan match it did not seem to effect the performers at all. 'aidan' had appeared at The Underground Sessions before with a previous performer James Guilmartin on May 11th, but while toiling away in the background, I was completely unaware till listening to his ep .introducing Aidan. of what a remarkably talented voice this man carries.

Aidan began with a french scripted tune followed by a number of songs with catchy tunes and lyrics. At times he was backed by a well chosen violinist, Christoph, a talented and humble performer who brought each tune to a new depth.

The small intimate surrounding did not do Aidan justice as his voice traveled far across the room destroying the boundaries as if he were singing to a vast desert. His finale .Staring Down on Me. plucked from an apparently treasure trove of songs in his head, left me wondering, with some frustration, what other gems were left inside that I would not get to hear.
